I’m thrilled to have a second story in the WMG Holiday Spectacular, and especially to have this one as my last publication of the decade!
“Virginia’s Last Old Christmas Eve” draws on so much of my own history and experience that it’s hard to express what it means to me. So being able to share it is one of those amazing opportunities that make this whole writing game worthwhile.
Here’s the introduction, including the link to get all of the wonderful holiday stories from this collection. My first story from the Holiday Spectacular, “The Magic Cat of the Hidden Springs Inn and Spa,” is available free on my site until the 30th, too.
There’s still one more story from a fellow Spiral Publishing author to come this decade, so stay tuned!
See you in 2020!

Today’s selection for our Calendar of Stories subscribers: “Virginia’s Last Old Christmas Eve” by Kari Kilgore. Old Christmas Eve is a tradition from the Appalachian Mountains. In this story Kari Kilgore takes us to a family celebrating with one of their oldest members for the very last time.
