Today’s featured story from the WMG Holiday Spectacular is SP author Jason Adams’s “A True Family Holiday,” and Jason’s last publication of the decade! You can read this wonderful story about finding your true family for free on Jason’s website through New Year’s Day.
I’m thrilled to have a second story in the WMG Holiday Spectacular, and especially to have this one as my last publication of the decade!
“Virginia’s Last Old Christmas Eve” draws on so much of my own history and experience that it’s hard to express what it means to me. So being able to share it is one of those amazing opportunities that make this whole writing game worthwhile.
Whether you’re celebrating mid-winter or mid-summer, a traditional holiday or one of your own choosing, everyone at Spiral Publishing wishes you joy and happiness!
And of course, we hope you’re finding time to curl up with a good read (or several). If you’re in a Christmas kind of mood, we’ve got you covered with free stories, too!
A great opportunity to get holiday shopping done early for the readers in your life, or to give yourself a daily break from festive madness!
WMG Publishing has put together a wonderful Holiday Spectacular: a collection of 35 holiday-themed short stories, including two by Kari Kilgore and one by Jason A. Adams. Both of Kari’s are Appalachian Stories, too, with one starring her sweet tabby cat Zortea. Everyone here is excited to get to read all these stories again in this fun story-a-day format!
Jason and I will both be out and about this Saturday, October 12, for Indie Author Day!
I’ll be at the Russell County Public Library in Lebanon from 10 to 3. Jason will be at the Arts Depot in Abingdon for a kid-themed day from 10-2.
Speaking of November, Jason and I are part of a wonderful holiday-themed project that will feature 35 short stories by some of our favorite writers and good friends! And these range from sweet holiday romances to moving winter holiday tales all the way to bloody holiday mysteries, so no matter your own feelings about this time of year, we’ve got you covered.
